HOMESICK is the story of a man named Milo.
It follows him as he ventures through a foreign world in an attempt to find a way home after he fell through a strange rift back on Earth. Milo meets strange new people and visits strange new places, making friends and forming delicate friendships that will last longer than he could ever anticipate. along the way however, he finds that there are much deeper meanings to everything here, and comes to find himself strung up in the intricate relations of the divine.
HOMESICK is also the story of the many other characters who inhabit it; how they live, who they are. this world is dangerous, as is any, but Milo finds the hidden and forgotten, those misunderstood and misenterpreted, people obscured by the blinding light. nothing is as clear cut as first appears, for no one is as shallow as you think.
the shadow shields and the light blinds. All is strange and foreign to Milo, and only gets stranger.

HOMESICK at this moment is nothing more than all which is on this page. But perhaps one day you will read the story from a book in your hands.

Homesick begins in a city called Avora, The capital of the largest kingdom currently. Avora sits on the shore, on the east coast of the main western landmass, and is a huge hub for trading. there is constant movement in and out of the city, from the gates and from the port. It is a city surrounded by hills and forest, with a generally warm, humid climate.
The south of the city, the south docks, is the 'bad part' of town. people advise to avoid it, say it crawls with criminals, thieves, foreigners from twisted cultures. its a relatively large, neglectected area with a high population. its not uncommon to find a pirate or bounty hunter walking down the streets. Its also not uncommon to see an immar or harpy, or any visually disntinct foreigner - cant be hounded
for no reason by knights when there arent any around.
The city is also home of the princess, the king and the queen, with the castle being west from the city, away from the docks.
