i was away for over 2 weeks, which is the longest i've been away for a holiday! i got to see some of my fam again which was great, and bought tons of new stuff!
i now have loads of new clothes, a few of which were actually second hand from 2 of my aunts (they always have the best clothes)
i also got to buy loads of stuff, since i 1. had a ton of money that i had left (like 130) and 2. the market stalls that i go to always have cool cheap stuff!! i also defo
needed some clothes (and still do (i always do)) cos im going to college in a couple weeks, and can finally wear normal, regular clothes!! no more uniform GRAAH!!
anywayy i stayed at the beach 4 3 days, and all the rest of the time i was staying where i always do! (a small town in castilla-la mancha) i rll loved the
beach. the place we were staying at had a balcony looking straight at the beach, and when i wasnt swimming in the sea, i was sat on the balcony drawing or eating or drinking (lipton tea), or just staring at the sea.
i think i spent hours just sat looking at the waves and the horizon, watching people live their lives on the beach. it was mesmerising. i kinda felt at Home; sat outside with a very faint breeze, the constant sound of chatter below, cars driving by on the road just beneath me, the waves crashing, the sea being most of what i could see, a cool glass of tea or lemonade, the day slowly turning to dusk and to night..i think its the most peaceful i've ever been, seriously! the moon was out all 3 days too, and was pretty full. i really didn't want to leave, but it couldn't last forever. plus, i'll have other experiences like that, i'll make sure i do.
heres some pics from when i was at the beach! no face tho
those first 2 were taken on my polaroid camera which i LOOVE (that used to b my sisters but i gave her my digital one in exchange 4 it)
the rest of my holiday was just as nice (albeit with less going on). on the penultimate day (i think) we went to a castle that i do not remember the name of, and it was amazing. its an old medieval castle which i actually remember going to for some halloween thing that my dad was taking part in for work or something back when we lived in spain. anyway, its totally different now, and u can tell it has more money. theres exhibition type things, and workers/actors who take u on a tour around the castle as historical ppl who lived there! there were replicas and artifacts of things that were in the castle, and it was all SO so gorgeous. there was also an armory that had suits of armour and weapons and shields n stuff n it was SOOOO cute!!! i would SO pull of a suit of armour fr.
