somehow there is drama in my friendgroup of 4 very chill non-confrontational people. I talk aaall about this for a hot sec so if u dont wanna read that just...scroll down. also NEW SONG FROM THE WONDERFULL YAELOKRE AND IT BANGGSSSS WOOOHOOO
so. after an excrutiating amount of scheduling and texting me n my friends had planned to finally hang out and give in our secret santa gifts
on the 20th; yesterday. i planned a super cute fit and DEVOUREDD. see, in spain i had gotten this super cute black n white poncho that i waas DYING to style n wear, and lemme tell you i did JUST that and MORE! anyway we met up finnally, hung around the mall for a while, and as we had said, went to a restaurant. it wasn't anything special, but the food was good and i was very happy to be hanging out with who i would consider my closest friends, as a group. we ate and gave eachother our presents, then moved to the gong cha that was next door (its a boba place if u dont know..)
we have drinks, sit down and chat and catch up and its nice and lovely and im so happy to be in a group like this!two people walk in, who are friends and bandmates of one of the friends in our little group, who im gonna call angel. at first all is well. angel sees them, they see angel, they chat while they wait for their boba -typical behaviour! everyone acts like this when they run into good friends on their day out!
the two bandmates come over to our table after they've gotten their drinks, and chat with angel and one of my other friends whose sat at this table. this friend, lets call her cinnamon, is very extroverted, and knows these two, sometimes chatting with them.
i do not talk to them. the last of my friends in this group, lets call her kuromi, has no idea who they are, and they have no idea who she is.
these two people are at the table for a bit. then a while. and it, honestly quite quickly, turns lowk rude and uncomfortable. however at this point i feel i am overreactimg, im probs the only one feeling like this.
me kuromi and cinnamon start getting bored as hell, and a little restless. we stand, and take some cute pics, cos thats what teens do obvs, while angel just. sits chatting with her friends. who appeared. out of nowhere. we end up being in this Gong Cha for over an HOUR! and hour. most of which angel was just hanging out and chatting with these 2 friends while we were just nearby.
eventually, we all start to leave, and angel says she gotta go to the mall to get soemthing from her sister, but she'll run back as soon as she got it. fine, chill. she leaves with her two friends while the rest of us go to a little gachapon place.
turns out, my other two friends felt the same way as I - they totes thought angel n her friends were being rude, the two friends who appeared just sort of intruded and shoved themselves into our day out, and angel let this happen and completely went along with it, oblivious to how we might feel! we hang at the gachapon and buy some cute sanrio stuff (which i rll wanted my sweet piano but didnt get her...i did get usahana tho so its ok :-33) and takes cute pics. eventually angel comes back. at this point you would expect her to come back by herself, that her two friends would have carried on with their day. BUT THEY WERE RIGHT THERE WITH HER!! STILL!!! how obsurd is that huh. what the hell were they doing?? did they not have plans? do they not have lives to attend to?? its crazy, honestly!
so we end up being in that gachapon for AGESSS as angel basically just hangs out with her two friends while we just happen to be in the vicinity. this was OUR day! she only met these guys at the beginning of college, while shes known us for years! me and her went to the same primary school!! we spent SO so long trying to ind a day that fit so we could hang out as a GROUP. not so we could be in the same room while she hung with some other randos that are in her band! when we finnally leave the gachapon, it turns out angel needs to go home. so she leaves, with her two friends, after spending at least half the day hanging out with them instead of us. on the day we have been planning for a big fat while that was meant to be for us. as a group. giving eachother presents and hanging and chilling and having fun.
we all felt like shit kinda. to be quite honest. so me, kuromi and cinnamon walked around the city, and ended up in an area we dont usually go to. its near all the unis, and i pass straight through while on the bus. let me tell ya it is nice. lovely shops and restaurants, many places to chill and sit-which is just what we did. the sun was setting, the dark was setting in and the city streets were illuminated beautifully. sure we felt betrayed (and oh babes u dont wanna know how little effort angel put into the secret santa...) but dusk was on us, and the ciy was gorgeous, and everything was...calm? there was this specific feeling in the air that comes with being out in the semi-late evening in the city.
we sat at some bench where there was no one else really around and talked for a while until we had to get the bus home. its unlikely we're gonna hang out as a group like that again. oh also angel got kuromi for secret santa and gave her - check this - four pics she printed out from our leavers day that kuromi had already printed out, a little miffy figure that was actively falling apart and had a scruff on its face which wasnt even in a box and a small lps that also wasnt in a box or anything. My lovely friend kuromi has literally never shown interest in lps. yknow who has? angel. im tellin u she got that lps, decided she didnt like it, and just gave it as a gift. I also reckon she got that miffy from the bottom of some drawer cos she couldn't be arsed to go out and buy something.its lowk appalling how little effort she put in and how little she cares about us. I am genuinely fuming like shes a dick! listen if she was a dick and was rude but was fully aware and talked about it, i would actually not care cos omg at least u own it yk like actually i may be in love. but she is so oblivious its obvious she genuinely doesnt give a shit about us anymore and just likes sucking up to her new friends. anyway im just gonna b super ignorant towards her and try and be a twat towards her without saying anything actually hurtful < 3

oh my god. i absolutely LOVE yaelokre. their music is heavenly and honest to god if i saw them perform live i would actually SOBB omgg. anyway they RELEASED A NEW SONG!!! KID AND LEVERET AND IT IS SO GOOOOOOOOD! The vocals are BANGING and the melody is SWEET!!! and omg the COVER ART???? MASTERPIECE IF IVE EVER SEEN ONE HOLYYY MARY!!! JUST LOOKS AT THIS!
im also currently now and always praying PRAYINGG that keath ósk announces they r coming to the uk like i need to see them sooo bad oh geeez the vibes would b so good and the people attending would be so cool T-T idc what ur into u gotta go check out yaelokre im telling you their music is like no other. shit has LOREE man its so good! < 33
ugh i would write tons MORE (especially abt this song and some lore i came up with for my lovely darling character The Red Rose) but i have a banging headache so. im leaving it at that :-P
